The birth of Jesus – that moment in time when God, in the flesh, came, walked the earth, and dwelt with man.
The living, breathing, physical Son of God, brought heaven to earth. It was a magnificent display of hope, power, forgiveness, and the greatest love ever known to mankind.
Immanuel, ‘God with us’ became ‘God within us’.
The Way, the Truth, and the Life resides within you. He walks with you, fights for you, calms every storm, brings peace to your chaos, and heals you of every disease.
In life, we face circumstances, heartache, disappointment, trails, pain, grief, betrayal, fear, and more. Left to ourselves, these have the capacity to paralyze us, destroy us, and take us out. But God! The Spirit of God living within us, enables us and empowers us to look at each one of these straight on. With confidence, we know that Jesus, the overcomer, the peace, the well-being, resides within us. He gives us courage and strength to face any battle. These are not just words on a page that we read. It is reality, the reality of the One living within us that we can experience. He goes before us, and makes a way for us where there seems to be no way.
Lean into this glorious reality! The God of heaven and earth came for you, died for you, lives within you, and daily manifests himself on your behalf and for your good will!
Immanuel – the greatest love of all.
