In Isaiah 59, the prophet Isaiah paints a picture of a nation that had turned their back to God, stepped away, transgressed, and that had made up their own mind on how they would live and what they would do. After the descriptive, incriminating prophetic word, the prophet declares the Lords words, ‘But as for me, says the Lord.’

The Lord then in simple language declares His covenant to the people of Israel. His covenant extends to our children, our children’s children, and forevermore…and then read Isaiah 60!

As you listen to this sermon, take heart!

His covenant extends beyond my time and your time, it is a covenant that is forever more!
